Passion for therapy I qualified as a counsellor in the late nineties. My training gave me an excellent grounding in use of many therapeutic approaches to support clients from many different walks of life. I avail of regular personal therapy for my ongoing development, and am a passionate advocate for the progress that good counselling can provide.
I’ve worked in private counselling practiceand have also worked in a number of ‘Substance misuse’ support roles for the past 20 years.
I graduated with a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy in 2019, in Dublin. As a qualified, registered counsellor, I follow BACP code of ethics,have fully Garda clearance, and any data about a client is held safely and confidentially. I am also accredited with Addiction Counsellors of Ireland.
Previous to working as a counsellor, I worked for a number of years in Marketing following completion of a Commerce degree in UCD, and graduating from the Marketing institute of Ireland. I also worked for 8 years in the IT sector.
Passionate activist for peace As a long practicing Buddhist, I uphold a passion for social justice, human dignity and equality. I hold a holistic interconnected view of ourselves, our environment, and our society. I believe that we each have the capacity to elevate the condition of our life, and have a role to support others to achieve this.
